I've never gone surfing. Is wakesurfing hard?
No — in fact it’s more accessible than traditional surfing. The wave is stable, always there, the right size. Briefing on land, several attempts from the water, and most riders are standing in under 20 minutes. The instructor adjusts speed and wave shape in real time to help you find your balance.
From age 6, provided they can swim. Kids get their own soft-top board and a properly sized CE life vest.
How many people can be on the boat during a session?
The boat fits up to 10 people per session — one surfer, the rest as spectators. The ideal format for a group of friends, a family outing or a private booking: take a session, share it, each rider takes their waves.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
We reschedule to another slot at no cost. The Bay of Saint-Cyr is very sheltered, so we run sessions 9 days out of 10 between May and October — but in case of strong mistral or rough seas, we’d rather reschedule and guarantee a real session, not a fight with the chop.
What is the difference between the Discovery session and the Advanced Rider session?
The Discovery (€50) is your first time: full briefing, gentle wave, 15 minutes on the water to work on the pop-up and your first glides from lesson one. The Advanced Rider (€40) is for riders who already ride on their own — tailored wave (goofy / regular), technique coaching, work on tricks.
Is equipment provided? Do I need to bring anything?
Everything is provided: neoprene wetsuit depending on the weather, CE-certified life vest, board matched to your level and build. Just bring a swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen. Restrooms available at the harbour office.
